As disbelief of the story of creation hides the beginnings of this world, so disbelief of the story of the flood hides the view of the end, for the days of Noah are referred to by the Saviour as a parallel to the days of the coming of the Son of man.
Many ideas are floaring about the globe regarding what the unpardonable sin is.
"Whether the slight be real or fancied, it is certainly the lamest excuse for unbelief that was ever invented; and when any man wants us to give a hearing to his new ideas, he must not make, as a cause for holding them, the statement that he has been slighted by the church."
Genuine faith in the Third Angel’s Message is evinced by a practical reception and of all the truths brought out by it. Among them may be mentioned the spirit of the prophecy. One who does not believe in this is not a believer in the message; it is one of the main points. Compare Revelation 12:17 with Revelation 19:10.
